Official Show Rules of the Lake Erie Paint Horse Club, Inc.
|
|
1) ALL club
members may enter any L.E.P.H.C. show competition
regardless of any elected or official club office that
they may hold. ALL show committee members may enter
show competition as well. |
|

3) To be
eligible for LEPHC Year End Awards, entrants must be a paid
member of the LEPHC. |
|
4) To be
eligible for LEPHC Year End Awards, entrants must properly
fill out a Sign-Up Form, and provide the necessary birth
certificates, horse registration papers, etc. |
|
5) For
divisions based upon the horse, both the entrant (s) and the
horse’s owner must be current LEPHC members. |
|
6)
Entrants may sign up for year end awards at any time during
the year, regardless if the show season has already started,
however, points will not be accrued until the date and time
all requirements are met. |
|
7) For
divisions listed as being based upon the horse / rider
combo, awards will be presented to the entrant & they must
be a current LEPHC member. These divisions will be noted
with a **. |
|
8) All
breed divisions will be based upon the All Breed Classes at
shows recognized by L.E.P.H.C.
|
|
9)
APHA divisions will be based upon the APHA Breed Classes
at the LEPHC Paint-O-Rama, the LEPHC Fall Classic, the
LEPHC Youth & Amateur Show, the NYS Breeders Show, and
the NY State Fair. Persons showing at NYS Breeders + NY
State Fair shows will get results from those show
secretaries to give to LEPHC Point Secretary
|
10) The show
committee reserves the right to make any
necessary decisions or changes to this policy,
in accordance with the Official Show Rules of
the LEPHC, the By-Laws of the LEPHC, and the
APHA. |

11) Ties will be
broken by the horse receiving more 1st
places, if still tied they will be broken by the
horse receiving more 2nd
places, then 3rd
places, etc. through 7th
place. If still tied after 7th
place the tie will remain, and both will receive
the proper award. |
|
12) APHA Halter
divisions will include placing from the Grand &
Reserve Halter Classes. Grand Champion
receiving 2 points, Reserve Champion receiving 1
point. |
|
13) For Amateur,
Novice Amateur, Walk / Trot, Youth, Novice Youth
and All Breed Divisions, entrants must show in
at least 2 events in their category, in each
show they wish points to be accrued from. One
event must include a riding class.

14) The back #
assigned to the horse and / or entrant (s) by
the Point Secretary, must
be used at all shows in which the LEPHC Year End
Awards will be tabulated. |
|
15) Exhibitor's age is as of January
1st of the current year. |
|
16) APHA Youth = 18 years &
under. |
|
17) APHA Walk Trot = 9 & under.
|
|
18) APHA Lead - In = 3 - 8 years.
|
|
19) Walk Trot Entrants may not show
in any classes with loping. |
|
|
20)
Entrants will receive 1 participation point in each eligible
class entered, per judge. This point will be in
addition to any points awarded for placing.
Disqualified entrants will not receive a point.
|
|
21) Entering in any loping classes
at any LEPHC Show will result in a disqualification from
LEPHC Year End Awards for the Walk Trot Divisions.
|
|
22) To qualify for LEPHC Year End
Awards, entrants must show in at least half of the eligible
shows that the LEPHC runs. |
|
23) To be eligible for year end
awards, entrants must pay $10 each horse/rider combination.
|
|
24) To be eligible for year end
awards, entrants must obtain at least one $25 sponsorship
for the club. |
